Details
A low, wide oval German silver basin with a double rim. The wide flat rim is finely engraved with a border pattern, an engraved band runs around the outside of the bowl, and the inside is hand-hammered to a soft satin silver with gentle cloudy tones around a perforated centre drain.
This vessel sink sits on top of the counter and needs only a drain hole in the countertop. Pair it with a wall-mounted spout or a tall vessel faucet so the water falls toward the centre of the basin. It is made to order and shaped by hand, so small variations in tone and texture are part of its character.

Which size should I choose?
The low oval shape suits a wide vanity where a deep round bowl would feel bulky. Contact us with your vanity width and we will confirm the inside length and width before your sink is made. Check that your faucet reaches the centre of the basin.

Sizes are the inside of the basin, excluding the rim. Measurements are approximate because each sink is shaped by hand.
Care and patina
German silver keeps a soft silver tone and can develop a gentle warm haze with use, which settles into the engraved lines. Rinse and dry after use and wash with mild soap. Avoid bleach and abrasive pads. See our Care and Patina Guide for the full routine.

Size and install guide
Choosing a size. Each size is listed in the selector above. Measure the inside width and depth of your cabinet or counter cutout, and leave a little room around the sink for a clean fit.
- Farmhouse sinks: check the base cabinet width and the front apron height before you order.
- Vessel sinks: check the faucet height against the rim. A taller faucet or wall mount works best.
- Bar and prep sinks: undermount and drop in installation are both possible.
Installing. Copper and brass are softer than steel, so use a plumber who is comfortable with them. Seal the rim with a neutral cure silicone and avoid harsh solvents on the finish.

Every sink is shaped and hammered by hand in our workshop in Fes, Morocco, a city where coppersmiths have worked the metal for centuries. Small variations in the hammer marks are what make each piece one of a kind.
