Copper Sinks

Our copper sinks are hand-hammered from a single sheet of unlacquered copper by artisans in Fes, Morocco. Each one is made to order, brightens with use and deepens into a rich, living patina over time. No two are exactly alike.

Choose your style: farmhouse (apron-front) sinks in 30 to 36 inches, undermount and prep kitchen sinks, bar and prep sinks, and vessel, drop-in and undermount bathroom sinks. Pick a polished finish for bright, warm copper from day one, or an aged patina that arrives with a lived-in look. Need a different size? Custom sizes are available.

Copper sink questions, answered

What is a hammered copper sink?

A hammered copper sink is shaped and textured by hand with a hammer, so the surface is covered in soft facets that catch the light and hide everyday marks and water spots.

What does unlacquered mean?

Unlacquered copper has no protective coating, so the metal reacts naturally with air and water. It darkens and shifts in colour as you use it, which is the patina many people choose copper for.

Will my copper sink change colour?

Yes. A polished sink starts bright and gradually deepens. An aged patina sink arrives already darkened and keeps developing. Both settle into a finish that is unique to your kitchen or bathroom.

How do I care for a copper sink?

Rinse and dry after use, clean with mild soap and a soft cloth, and avoid harsh abrasives. If you prefer a brighter look, copper can be polished back, and leaving it alone lets the patina develop.

Can I get a custom size?

Yes. Every Brass & Basin sink is made to order and can be custom sized to fit your cabinet and space. Contact us with your measurements.
