Details
A deep half-sphere dome pendant in solid brass, hand-hammered all over and finished in a warm antique bronze-brown. Lighter brass glints show on the hammer marks, while the inside of the dome is dark. A small antique brass socket cap sits on top, on a black fabric cord.
Hang a pair or a row over a kitchen island, or one larger dome over a dining table. The deep dome keeps the bulb tucked inside and sends the light down onto the table.

Care and patina
The antique bronze finish is applied by hand and is meant to look aged. Dust with a soft dry cloth and avoid metal polishes or harsh cleaners, which would strip the finish. See our Care and Patina Guide for more.
How it compares: The same half-sphere shape as our Hammered Brass Dome Pendant Light, but in a warm antique bronze-brown rather than bright unlacquered yellow brass. Unlike our Two-Tone Hammered Brass Dome Pendant Light, the inside is dark rather than bright gold, for a softer, more even look.

Size and hanging guide
Choosing a size. Pick the diameter in the selector above. As a rough guide, an 8 to 12 in shade suits a small island, a bedside or a breakfast nook, 14 to 18 in suits a standard island or dining table, and 22 in works as a single centrepiece over a large table.
- Kitchen islands: hang two or three pendants evenly spaced, with the bottom of each shade about 30 to 36 in above the counter.
- Dining tables: hang the bottom of the shade about 30 to 34 in above the tabletop, and choose a shade about half to two thirds of the table width.
- Cord length: measure from the ceiling to where you want the bottom of the shade, then choose the next cord length up.
Wiring and bulbs. Socket type and bulb details are listed in each product description. Installation by a licensed electrician is recommended.

Craftsmanship
Every shade is shaped and hammered by hand in our workshop in Fes, Morocco, a city where coppersmiths have worked the metal for centuries. Small variations in the hammer marks and patina are what make each piece one of a kind.
Materials and care
Solid copper or brass. Raw finishes deepen into a natural patina over time, while oxidized and bronze finishes are made to look aged from the start. Switch the light off and let the shade cool, then dust it with a soft dry cloth. Avoid harsh cleaners and abrasive pads. Read our Care and Patina Guide.
Shipping and returns

Will the colour change over time?
Raw copper and brass develop a living patina that deepens and warms. Oxidized and bronze finishes already look aged and change more slowly.
