A flat square German silver top with slightly irregular, hand-cut edges and a deep round bowl set into it. The bowl is hand-hammered into small bright facets, while the flat top has a softer sheen with darker patina patches near the edges. Three small overflow holes sit just below the back rim, and a round perforated drain finishes the bowl.

This drop-in sink sits in a countertop cutout and rests on its square top, the easiest type of sink to install or replace. It is made to order and shaped by hand, so small variations in tone and texture are part of its character.

This sink is made in one standard size, a compact square that suits powder rooms and smaller vanities. The maker lists the overall top at about 16-3/4 x 13-3/4 in. Contact us for the exact inside basin measurements before cutting your countertop.

Care and patina

German silver is a living finish: it keeps its silver tone but can soften toward a warmer, deeper sheen with use. Rinse and dry after use and wash with mild soap. Avoid bleach and abrasive pads. Choosing a size. Each size is listed in the selector above. Measure the inside width and depth of your cabinet or counter cutout, and leave a little room around the sink for a clean fit.

Farmhouse sinks: check the base cabinet width and the front apron height before you order.
Vessel sinks: check the faucet height against the rim. A taller faucet or wall mount works best.
Bar and prep sinks: undermount and drop in installation are both possible.

Installing. Copper and brass are softer than steel, so use a plumber who is comfortable with them. Seal the rim with a neutral cure silicone and avoid harsh solvents on the finish.
