Details
A deep round prep sink in solid raw brass, with straight tapered sides, a flat bottom and a narrow flat rim. The whole bowl is finely hand-hammered and has a warm, matte aged brass tone. An unlacquered brass basket strainer drain is included.
This sink is made to mount under the counter for a clean edge, and its flat rim also lets it sit on top as a drop-in sink. It suits a kitchen island, a home bar or a butler's pantry. It is made to order and shaped by hand, so small variations in tone and texture are part of its character.

Which size should I choose?
At 14 in across the inside, this sink is sized for prep and bar work: rinsing produce, filling a kettle or washing glasses. It fits comfortably in an island or a bar counter where a full kitchen sink would be too large. Always check your cabinet width and counter cutout before ordering.
Dimensions
| Inside diameter (inches) | Inside diameter (cm) |
|---|---|
| 14 in | 36 cm |
Sizes are the inside of the basin, excluding the rim. Depth is about 7 in (18 cm) and the sink measures about 16 in (41 cm) across the rim. Measurements are approximate because each sink is shaped by hand.
Care and patina
Unlacquered brass is a living finish: it slowly deepens toward a warm, darker patina with use. Rinse and dry after use and wash with mild soap. Avoid bleach and abrasive pads. See our Care and Patina Guide for the full routine.
Made to order
Every sink is handcrafted when you order it. Custom sizes are available on request: contact us with your countertop cutout measurements.
Size and install guide
Choosing a size. Measure the inside width and depth of your cabinet or counter cutout, and leave a little room around the piece for a clean fit.
- Farmhouse sinks: check the base cabinet width and the front apron height before you order.
- Vessel sinks: check the faucet height against the rim. A taller faucet or wall mount works best.
- Bar and prep sinks: undermount and drop in installation are both possible.
Installing. Copper and brass are softer than steel, so use a plumber who is comfortable with them. Seal the rim with a neutral cure silicone and avoid harsh solvents on the finish.

Craftsmanship
Every piece is shaped and hammered by hand in our workshop in Fes, Morocco, a city where coppersmiths have worked the metal for centuries. Small variations in the hammer marks are what make each piece one of a kind.
