A pair of cross faucet handles cast in solid brass and polished to a bright, warm shine. Each handle has four short, chunky arms with rounded ends around a domed centre cap, and the caps are engraved HOT and COLD so the pair reads clearly on a basin or kitchen tap.

They are made as replacement handles for faucets that use 1/4 turn (90 degree) ceramic cartridges, a simple way to give a plain tap a classic cross handle look. Solid brass mellows in tone with handling; a brass polish brings the shine back.

Care and patina

Wipe with a soft damp cloth and dry after use. Solid brass slowly mellows to a softer, warmer tone with handling; polish it with a brass polish whenever you want the bright shine back. Avoid harsh cleaners and abrasive pads. See our Care and Patina Guide for the full routine.

Will they fit my faucet?
They are designed for faucets with 1/4 turn (90 degree) ceramic cartridges. The spline and thread size are not listed, so please send us your faucet model before ordering and we will confirm the fit.

What is included?
Two solid brass cross handles: one with a cap engraved HOT and one engraved COLD. Cartridges and fixing screws are not included.

Are these the same as your cross handles with cartridges?
No. This pair has chunkier rounded arms and engraved HOT and COLD caps, and it is sold as handles only for quarter turn ceramic cartridges.

Choosing a size. Each size is listed in the selector above. Measure the inside width and depth of your cabinet or counter cutout, and leave a little room around the sink for a clean fit.

Farmhouse sinks: check the base cabinet width and the front apron height before you order.
Vessel sinks: check the faucet height against the rim. A taller faucet or wall mount works best.
Bar and prep sinks: undermount and drop in installation are both possible.

Installing. Copper and brass are softer than steel, so use a plumber who is comfortable with them. Seal the rim with a neutral cure silicone and avoid harsh solvents on the finish.

Every sink is shaped and hammered by hand in our workshop in Fes, Morocco, a city where coppersmiths have worked the metal for centuries. Small variations in the hammer marks are what make each piece one of a kind.

Yes. Copper and brass develop a living patina. It deepens and warms with use, and you can slow or polish it back.
