A pair of cross faucet handles in solid, hand forged brass, polished and left unlacquered: four rounded arms with ball tips around a domed centre, each fixed to a brass valve cartridge with a red cap for hot and a blue cap for cold. They bring a traditional cross handle look to a brass basin or kitchen tap.

The handles are made for US plumbing with 1/2 inch standard threads. Raw brass warms to a soft patina with use; polish it whenever you want the shine back.

Care and patina

Wipe with a soft damp cloth and dry. Unlacquered brass is a living metal: polish it with a brass polish to keep it bright, or let it mellow to a warm, soft patina over time. Avoid harsh cleaners and abrasive pads. See our Care and Patina Guide for the full routine.

Will they fit my faucet?
They are made for 1/2 inch US standard plumbing threads. The cartridge spline is not listed, so please send us your faucet model before ordering and we will confirm the fit.

What is included in the set?
Two brass cross handles, each on its brass valve cartridge: one marked hot with a red cap and one marked cold with a blue cap.

Does unlacquered brass change colour?
Yes. It starts bright and slowly darkens to a warm patina with handling. A brass polish brings back the shine.

Choosing a size. Each size is listed in the selector above. Measure the inside width and depth of your cabinet or counter cutout, and leave a little room around the sink for a clean fit.

Farmhouse sinks: check the base cabinet width and the front apron height before you order.
Vessel sinks: check the faucet height against the rim. A taller faucet or wall mount works best.
Bar and prep sinks: undermount and drop in installation are both possible.

Installing. Copper and brass are softer than steel, so use a plumber who is comfortable with them. Seal the rim with a neutral cure silicone and avoid harsh solvents on the finish.

Every sink is shaped and hammered by hand in our workshop in Fes, Morocco, a city where coppersmiths have worked the metal for centuries. Small variations in the hammer marks are what make each piece one of a kind.
