Details
The Rabat is a handmade brass kitchen sink with an integrated drainboard, 42 inches (108 cm) wide. A generous single basin and a flat drainboard are formed from one piece of brass by artisans in Fes, Morocco, with a warm, mottled aged patina and a slim flat rim that sits cleanly against the countertop.
The drainboard gives you a place to rest rinsed dishes, produce and glassware beside the basin, so the counter stays dry. A brass basket strainer drain is included. In stock and dispatched from our warehouse in New Jersey, fully insured.

Care and patina
This sink is unlacquered, so the brass will keep developing character with use. Rinse and wipe dry after use and wash with mild soap. See our Care and Patina Guide for the full routine.
Because each piece is made by hand, no two sinks are exactly alike. Small variations in color and surface are part of the character.
Size and install guide
Choosing a size. Each size is listed in the selector above. Measure the inside width and depth of your cabinet or counter cutout, and leave a little room around the sink for a clean fit.
- Farmhouse sinks: check the base cabinet width and the front apron height before you order.
- Vessel sinks: check the faucet height against the rim. A taller faucet or wall mount works best.
- Bar and prep sinks: undermount and drop in installation are both possible.
Installing. Copper and brass are softer than steel, so use a plumber who is comfortable with them. Seal the rim with a neutral cure silicone and avoid harsh solvents on the finish.
Not sure it will fit? Send us your measurements and we will confirm before you order.
Craftsmanship
Every sink is shaped and hammered by hand in our workshop in Fes, Morocco, a city where coppersmiths have worked the metal for centuries. Small variations in the hammer marks are what make each piece one of a kind.
Materials and care
Solid copper or brass, with a natural finish that deepens with use. Rinse after use, dry with a soft cloth, and wash with mild soap. Avoid bleach and abrasive pads. Read the full care guide.

Shaped by hand in Fes, Morocco
Each sink starts as a flat sheet of metal and is formed and hammered by a master coppersmith. No two are identical, and that is the point.
