A floor-mounted S-trap in unlacquered brass that turns the drain under an open washstand into a feature: one straight round pipe drops from the basin to the floor, with a large upright oval loop on one side forming the trap, and a round brass cup flange where it meets the floor.

It is made for washstands, console sinks and pedestal-style basins with the plumbing on show. Lengths can be customised for a precise fit from the basin to the floor. The raw brass arrives bright and develops a warm patina over time.

Care and patina

Wipe dry after use to limit water spots. Unlacquered brass is a living metal: polish it with a brass polish to keep it bright, or let it mellow to a warm, soft patina over time. Avoid harsh cleaners and abrasive pads. See our Care and Patina Guide for the full routine.

Can you make it to my basin height?
Yes. Custom lengths are available; contact us with the distance from your basin drain to the floor.

What is included in each option?
"S-trap only" is the looped S-trap pipe with its floor flange cup. "S-trap + push-up drain" adds a matching brass push pop-up drain. "Push-up drain only" is the drain on its own.

Will it fit my floor pipe?
Contact us with your floor drain pipe size and we will confirm the fit before making it.

Choosing a size. Each size is listed in the selector above. Measure the inside width and depth of your cabinet or counter cutout, and leave a little room around the sink for a clean fit.

Farmhouse sinks: check the base cabinet width and the front apron height before you order.
Vessel sinks: check the faucet height against the rim. A taller faucet or wall mount works best.
Bar and prep sinks: undermount and drop in installation are both possible.

Installing. Copper and brass are softer than steel, so use a plumber who is comfortable with them. Seal the rim with a neutral cure silicone and avoid harsh solvents on the finish.
