A garbage disposal flange in solid, unlacquered brass: a plain round ring with a wide, smooth rim and a short straight throat, polished to a bright, warm yellow. It replaces the stainless or plastic flange that comes with most disposals, so the drain opening matches a brass sink, faucet or strainer.

It is made for standard 3-1/2 inch kitchen sink openings and fits most 3-1/2 inch garbage disposal units. Left unlacquered, the brass will slowly soften to a natural patina with water and use.

Care and patina

Rinse and wipe dry after use to limit water spots. Unlacquered brass is a living metal: polish it with a brass polish to keep it bright, or let it mellow to a warm, soft patina over time. Avoid harsh cleaners and abrasive pads. See our Care and Patina Guide for the full routine.

Will it fit my garbage disposal?
It is made for standard 3-1/2 in sink openings and fits most 3-1/2 in garbage disposal units. Contact us with your disposal model if you would like us to confirm before you order.

Does it come with a stopper or splash guard?
No. The flange is sold on its own; keep using your disposal's stopper and splash guard.

Does unlacquered brass change colour?
Yes. With water and use it softens to a warm, natural patina. Polish it whenever you want the bright finish back.

Choosing a size. Each size is listed in the selector above. Measure the inside width and depth of your cabinet or counter cutout, and leave a little room around the sink for a clean fit.

Farmhouse sinks: check the base cabinet width and the front apron height before you order.
Vessel sinks: check the faucet height against the rim. A taller faucet or wall mount works best.
Bar and prep sinks: undermount and drop in installation are both possible.

Installing. Copper and brass are softer than steel, so use a plumber who is comfortable with them. Seal the rim with a neutral cure silicone and avoid harsh solvents on the finish.
