The details

Sizing, care, craft and delivery, answered in one place. Still deciding? Ask the workshop.

Overview

An antique brass hand towel holder made from a slim solid brass rod with a twisted rope pattern along its whole length. The rod curves into a wide open D shape, finished at the free end with a small knob, and joins a small round wall rosette through a short post and ball.

The finish is a warm, darkened antique brass, close to bronze, with the deepest tone sitting in the grooves of the twist. Because the ring is open at one end, a hand towel slides on from the side, which makes it handy beside a basin, in a powder room or next to the kitchen sink.

Care and patina

Wipe with a soft dry cloth and keep it free of standing water. The aged finish is part of the look, so skip the brass polish unless you want it bright again; polishing will remove the darker tone. Avoid harsh cleaners and abrasive pads. See our Care and Patina Guide for more.

Frequently asked questions

How do I hang a towel on it?
The ring is open at one end, so a hand towel slides on from the side without threading it through.

How is it mounted?
The small round rosette fixes to the wall with two screws, and the mounting hardware is included.

Will the antique finish change?
It may deepen a little with handling. Avoid brass polish if you want to keep the darker tone, since polishing brightens it.

See all our brass bath accessories, and pair it with our handmade bathroom and vessel sinks.

Size and install guide

Choosing a size. Each size is listed in the selector above. Measure the inside width and depth of your cabinet or counter cutout, and leave a little room around the sink for a clean fit.

  • Farmhouse sinks: check the base cabinet width and the front apron height before you order.
  • Vessel sinks: check the faucet height against the rim. A taller faucet or wall mount works best.
  • Bar and prep sinks: undermount and drop in installation are both possible.

Installing. Copper and brass are softer than steel, so use a plumber who is comfortable with them. Seal the rim with a neutral cure silicone and avoid harsh solvents on the finish.

Not sure it will fit? Send us your measurements and we will confirm before you order.

Craftsmanship

Every sink is shaped and hammered by hand in our workshop in Fes, Morocco, a city where coppersmiths have worked the metal for centuries. Small variations in the hammer marks are what make each piece one of a kind.

Materials and care

Solid copper or brass, with a natural finish that deepens with use. Rinse after use, dry with a soft cloth, and wash with mild soap. Avoid bleach and abrasive pads. Read the full care guide.

Is a drain included?
The drain details are in each product description. If you are unsure, ask us before ordering.
