Details
A freestanding fireplace tool set in solid brass with a bright, polished shine. A turned baluster centre post is topped with a flat ring handle, and a turned cross bar holds four tools whose handles end in large round ball knobs. The tools lean outward in a crossed arrangement and rest in a flat half-round tray base with a raised rim: a shovel, a brush with black bristles, a poker and a pair of tongs.
The straight back of the base sits neatly against the wall or fireplace surround and catches ash from the tools. The brass is unlacquered, so it arrives shiny and gradually develops a natural patina with use. Polish it to keep it bright, or let it age.

Care and patina

Size and install guide
Choosing a size. Measure the inside width and depth of your cabinet or counter cutout, and leave a little room around the piece for a clean fit.
- Farmhouse sinks: check the base cabinet width and the front apron height before you order.
- Vessel sinks: check the faucet height against the rim. A taller faucet or wall mount works best.
- Bar and prep sinks: undermount and drop in installation are both possible.
Installing. Copper and brass are softer than steel, so use a plumber who is comfortable with them. Seal the rim with a neutral cure silicone and avoid harsh solvents on the finish.

Craftsmanship
Every piece is shaped and hammered by hand in our workshop in Fes, Morocco, a city where coppersmiths have worked the metal for centuries. Small variations in the hammer marks are what make each piece one of a kind.
