Overview
A sanded unlacquered brass towel ring with a plain, smooth round ring of solid brass rod. The ring runs through a small hand-shaped brass ball on a short turned post, set into a round wall rosette with two screws.
The sanded surface has a soft, matte satin sheen and a faint hand-worked texture rather than a mirror shine. It is unlacquered, so it warms to a deeper patina over time. A good match for satin brass faucets and towel bars.

Care and patina
Wipe with a soft dry cloth and keep it free of standing water. Unlacquered brass is a living metal: polish it with a brass polish to brighten it, or let it deepen to a warm, aged patina. Avoid harsh cleaners and abrasive pads. See our Care and Patina Guide for the full routine.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the two finishes?
Sanded Brass has the soft matte satin surface shown in the photos. Patina Brass is supplied with a darker aged tone; contact us if you would like to see a photo first.
How is it mounted?
The round rosette fixes to the wall with two screws, and the mounting hardware is included.
Does unlacquered brass change colour?
Yes. It slowly warms to a deeper patina. A brass polish brightens it again.
See all our brass bath accessories, and pair it with our handmade bathroom and vessel sinks.
Size and install guide
Choosing a size. Each size is listed in the selector above. Measure the inside width and depth of your cabinet or counter cutout, and leave a little room around the sink for a clean fit.
- Farmhouse sinks: check the base cabinet width and the front apron height before you order.
- Vessel sinks: check the faucet height against the rim. A taller faucet or wall mount works best.
- Bar and prep sinks: undermount and drop in installation are both possible.
Installing. Copper and brass are softer than steel, so use a plumber who is comfortable with them. Seal the rim with a neutral cure silicone and avoid harsh solvents on the finish.
Not sure it will fit? Send us your measurements and we will confirm before you order.
Craftsmanship
Every sink is shaped and hammered by hand in our workshop in Fes, Morocco, a city where coppersmiths have worked the metal for centuries. Small variations in the hammer marks are what make each piece one of a kind.
Materials and care
Solid copper or brass, with a natural finish that deepens with use. Rinse after use, dry with a soft cloth, and wash with mild soap. Avoid bleach and abrasive pads. Read the full care guide.
