Overview
A smooth unlacquered brass oval soap dish for the countertop, handmade in solid brass. It is a simple, shallow oval tray with a gently curved low rim and a small flat base, polished to a plain shine with no pattern, so it sits quietly next to almost any faucet.
Use it for bar soap beside the bathroom sink, or for rings and small essentials on a vanity. Buy one, or a set of 2 for a double vanity or 4 for the whole home. The raw brass arrives bright and slowly develops a warm natural patina with use.

Care and patina
Rinse off soap residue now and then and dry with a soft cloth, as the tray has no drain holes. Unlacquered brass darkens gently and evenly over time; if you prefer the bright shine, a little brass polish brings it back. Avoid harsh cleaners and abrasive pads. Does it have drain holes?
No. It is a solid shallow tray, so tip out water and dry it now and then.
What size is it?
It is sized for a standard bar of soap. For exact measurements please contact us before ordering.

Size and install guide
Choosing a size. Each size is listed in the selector above. Measure the inside width and depth of your cabinet or counter cutout, and leave a little room around the sink for a clean fit.
- Farmhouse sinks: check the base cabinet width and the front apron height before you order.
- Vessel sinks: check the faucet height against the rim. A taller faucet or wall mount works best.
- Bar and prep sinks: undermount and drop in installation are both possible.
Installing. Copper and brass are softer than steel, so use a plumber who is comfortable with them. Seal the rim with a neutral cure silicone and avoid harsh solvents on the finish.

Craftsmanship
Every sink is shaped and hammered by hand in our workshop in Fes, Morocco, a city where coppersmiths have worked the metal for centuries. Small variations in the hammer marks are what make each piece one of a kind.
Materials and care
Solid copper or brass, with a natural finish that deepens with use. Rinse after use, dry with a soft cloth, and wash with mild soap. Avoid bleach and abrasive pads. Read the full care guide.

Will the color change over time?
Yes. Copper and brass develop a living patina. It deepens and warms with use, and you can slow or polish it back.

Where does it ship from?
