The details

Overview

A rectangular single-bowl kitchen sink hand-hammered from solid copper by our own artisans in Fes, Morocco. Deep straight walls, crisp hand-soldered corners and a narrow rolled rim edged with a row of hammer marks frame a densely pebbled, hand-hammered basin. The aged finish has the warm, uneven reddish-brown tones you see in the photos, and every hammer mark and seam is left visible on purpose. An unlacquered brass basket strainer drain is included.

This undermount sink is fixed beneath a stone or solid-surface countertop, so the counter edge runs cleanly over the rim and crumbs wipe straight into the basin. We make every sink ourselves in Fes, so each one is made to order and shaped by hand.

The 36 in size is a generous main sink for large pots and sheet pans. Measure your sink base cabinet and countertop cutout before ordering. For a custom size, choose "Custom size" and we will confirm your measurements and final price with you before we start.

Sizes are the inside of the basin, excluding the rim. Front-to-back width is confirmed with you before production. Measurements are approximate because each sink is shaped by hand.

Care and patina

Unlacquered copper is a living finish: it deepens toward a rich brown patina with use. Rinse and dry after use and wash with mild soap. Avoid bleach and abrasive pads. See our Care and Patina Guide for the full routine.

Made to order

Every sink is handcrafted when you order it. Custom sizes are available: choose "Custom size" or contact us with your countertop cutout measurements.

Size and install guide

Choosing a size. Each size is listed in the selector above. Measure the inside width and depth of your cabinet or counter cutout, and leave a little room around the sink for a clean fit.

  • Farmhouse sinks: check the base cabinet width and the front apron height before you order.
  • Vessel sinks: check the faucet height against the rim. A taller faucet or wall mount works best.
  • Bar and prep sinks: undermount and drop in installation are both possible.

Installing. Copper and brass are softer than steel, so use a plumber who is comfortable with them. Seal the rim with a neutral cure silicone and avoid harsh solvents on the finish.

Not sure it will fit? Send us your measurements and we will confirm before you order.

Craftsmanship

Every sink is shaped and hammered by hand in our workshop in Fes, Morocco, a city where coppersmiths have worked the metal for centuries. Small variations in the hammer marks are what make each piece one of a kind.

Materials and care

Solid copper or brass, with a natural finish that deepens with use. Rinse after use, dry with a soft cloth, and wash with mild soap. Avoid bleach and abrasive pads. Read the full care guide.
